Minneapolis was under a Wind advisory. I was not sure what it meant but I was sure going to figure out soon! A little too soon in fact!

Back home, the question became: Would I have liked to be in the air at that time? Some computations are in order!

It's time again to fly the other way and today is Toulouse, France to Minneapolis, MN.

As I'm travelling, I got to take a couple pictures of the Toulouse Airport and some videos of the landing in Minneapolis. I also had the opportunity to get in the cockpit of the A330 that flew us over the Atlantic...

The first phase of the training is over and it is time to reflect a little on what happened.

Where do I stand in the process of becoming a pilot?

Did I achieve what I had in mind at the beginning of this phase?

Michael just told me that he was stepping out of the plane and that I will be by myself with a plane acting very differently. Now I have 3 landings to perform!

Will everything go smoothly? Will I be able to limit the pressure from having my fiancée on site?

Coming to the airport, I was expecting a quiet, kinda touristy flight. My fiance had decided to come along so it should be a nice flight.

Instead, my instructor had a different plan: SOLO!

We have just finished the maneuvers at night! Time to go tackle the real difficulty: landings! Beside being one of my weak point, night landing offers its own set of challenges!

The plan for the first flight of the day got cancelled because of bad weather but it improved and allowed us to go do some maneuvers with a slight variation this time: it would be at night!

Today, some tech talks about how I did all these recordings and the plans for the future! What worked and what was total failure!

The plan for tday is confirmed!, We are going to Turkey Mountain to practice sft field landings. I've prepared the flight plan the day before and I'm ready to go tackle these soft field landings!

At the end of the today’s lesson, Michael has hinted that we might get to Turkey Mountain tomorrow!
