Thank you! I have been bugged down with work and I'm accumulating so many hours of video anf flight hours to process. I'm hoping to get some time to clear some backlog soon.

I'm hopefull that the result and the delay would be worthwhile.

Congratulation on your check ride and your PPL! How did you part one compared to mine? Did you have the same experience?
Also I believe the Instrument rating is a must have if you are intending to do any Cross Country flight! I've heard a lot of the confirmed pilots saying that Instrument training makes you a better pilot! I can not agree more! I realize how little I knew about piloting a plane with just the PPL! It's tougher to get but fun at the same!

Again congratulations and I hope to meet you one day at Summit or on the ramp. I'm easy to spot, I"m carrying my recording studio with me!

Good job in your blog. I look forward to watching the checkride tape. I'm also a student at Summit. I got my private early this year and have started the instrument rating.

Very simple. I ran out of time to create the posts! Between work picking up the pace and preparing the checkride, I had no time to work on the blog.

To make matters worse I ran into several technical difficulties with my computer. I've lost access to my SAN, add problem with my wireless network, stupidly enabled a virus by clicking too fast on the wrong button... Long story short, 3 weeks of doing computer maintenance instead of creating posts.

But I have accumulated all the materials and I'm now almost back in business as far as creating the posts. I will take the time to create the post for all the intermediate flights so you can see what happened. It was quite a ride going to the checkride. The cool stuff is that I was allowed to tape the entire checkride flight. That should make for an interesting post...

Wait a minute, your blog went from Mid May when a XC was cancelled to you have finished your checkride.......what happened in between???

Thank you for the kind words. I do indeed have a good instructor. I've taken your request in consideration and I will try to update all the data posts with the cumulative time. I have fallen behind on creating the postings as I have done the flight. I will try to catch up... I've also in planned some modification to the blog to help people getting the posts but more later about that!

I hope your flying is doing good. Don't be afraid to share your video! We need more pilots (to be...) to do so!

This is an amazing website! I really enjoyed reading your blog about your flying experience and flight school. It helps me to understand a lot better what flight school is about. How did your solo cross country go? I hope you did very well!! I hope you will keep up posting your blog. I am going to subcribe your blog also. :-)

I think its cool your documenting your training. Great job with the videos! They are much better than mine. I'm a student pilot also. I have my checkride in 2 weeks and the weather has been so crappy I am worried I will not get the needed practice. I'd like to see your total hours posted with each video. That would help other students gauge their own hours and make it more interesting. Good luck! You seem to have a good instructor.

Hello Frederik this is my 3rd day reading your blog. I'm really into your stories, and sometimes fell the emotion as inside of your airplane flying with you.
I'm working toward to get my PPL license as soon as possible; I have only 9h logged, and I'm grounded due to some paperworks (as I am a foreign student), but after reading all of your writtings I can see how dedicated and passionate we, pilots, should be in order to accomplish the missions and keep the studies going in a satisfatory pace.

Thanks Frederik. I had a great time during the flight. The emergency landing at lost bridge made it all the more exciting!
